I built this guitar for myself in 2011 for ‘show and tell’ in the workshop and for guitar shows and festivals . Very similar to the one I built for Colin Hay two years ago.
Sunburst face in full gloss , made of Western Red cedar, back and sides of Indian Rosewood with a satin finish. Mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and bridge. 45mm at the nut giving a little more space, 56mm at the 14th. Gotoh gold heads with amber buttons.
Fitted with a K&K pure mini pick up with offboard preamp, no hum
Exceptional acoustic guitar sound. Fat bottom end, warm tones, crystal clear. Rang like a bell from day one.
There are some scratches but overall in excellent condition for a used guitar.
Priced at AU $3750.00 in case. Freight and insurance not included.
I will be more than happy to answer any questions regarding this guitar.
I would also be happy to scan other photos to you on request.
